How does 'My profile' work?

The resulting profile will enable you to:

- Reserve items to view in the reading room
- Add transcriptions
- Save your favourites
- Check your search history
- Edit your account information
- Change your password
Creating an account
Before you can create an account you must agree with the Terms and Conditions, so please take your time to read these through.
At the bottom of the screen you will be asked to enter a code. This is designed to prevent the site being abused by spammers creating automatic accounts and leaving unwanted messages. If you have trouble reading the characters, you can have them read to you by clicking on 'Audio verification'. When you click on the ‘Play’ button, you will hear five words. Enter the first letter of each word in the box.
Do you already have an account? Go to ‘Log in’ and log in with your username and password.
Forgotten your password?
If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new one on the log-in page. When you enter your username or e-mail address, a new password will be sent to your registered e-mail address.
