Passport compulsory

From 1 June 1994, it is compulsory to provide proof of identity in the Netherlands. In certain situations, any citizen can be asked to identify themselves. This also applies to all visitors to the Nationaal Archief (since 1 April 2003). For non-Dutch citizens a passport is the only form of identification we can accept.

gahetNA is a website of the Society for the Nationaal Archief in cooperation with the Nationaal Archief and Spaarnestad Photo.
