There are a lot of photographs in the photograph collection which cannot be ordered. Why is that?
The Nationaal Archief and Spaarnestad photograph collections should be seen as a digital presentation of the collection. But that does not mean that all of the photographs can be ordered. Only photographs that have been scanned at high resolution can be added to your shopping cart. The Nationaal Archief is working on making all photographs available. The number of photographs available to order will therefore increase in the future. Until then, anything marked as ‘unavailable’ really is unavailable.
